Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Jelly; My thoughts

Looks like the clever clogs over at Indeed labs have done it yet again, adding another moisture baby to their ever-growing family. By now everyone and their granny has heard of and loves their famous Hydraluron moisture boosting serum but what about the new moisture jelly addition? Being an already, avid supporter of the serum, I had high hopes for this bad boy and I’m happy to report that it hasn’t disappointed!

It has the same 30ml as the serum, but the packaging is different. It’s more hygienic with a pump instead of a tube and each single pump gives the perfect (if not a little over) amount, great for those who tend to be a little heavy handed and wasteful with products. 😉

I use this jelly before my serum and moisturiser morning and night. There’s no stickiness and it absorbs quickly without any trace so it’s great for use before your make-up application. You can use it on its own on a freshly cleansed face or layered on top of your favourite oil/ serum. I love it with my Trilogy Rosehip oil and Simple Light daily moisturiser.

Overall, this is a dehydrated skins dream! Packed with hyaluronic acid; a genius product which holds 1.000 times its weight in water, it allows the skin to absorb the maximum amount of moisture from your products. The jelly also contains cooling agents which makes it the BOMB to apply after a long day. Sounds great doesn’t it? But wait! There’s more.. It also has a plumping affect, which I have really noticed in the morning, handy if you’ve had a late night or are suffering from a pesky cold.

Now to the sciencey-ish bit to explain just how the hell it works. By now we know about their magic ingredient; hyaluronic acid, but what sets this jelly apart from its sister products? It all comes down to two key ingredients really. PatcH20: “a micro network moisture complex, which saturates the skin with fast-absorbing ingredients” and Fucogel: which “forms a protective film on the skin’s surface to defend against moisture evaporation”(Yes, I took that from their site). With impressive ingredients like that, it’s hard to compare it to anything else of its price range in the market!

Now on to the million dollar question… does it actually work? To put it simply, yes! One thing I love about any indeed labs products is their no nonsense reliability. Their products do what they claim to do. This jelly will give you an instant moisture boost, your skin will feel more comfortable and any sensitivity will automatically be calmed. However, like almost anything, you do need repeated use in order to get the maximum benefits. I’ve been using this jelly for over a month and I’m thrilled with the results. It has now become a full-time staple in my skin care routine.

This moisture Jelly usually retails for 29.99 but Boots regularly has promotions on their indeed lab products ( I got mine for 19.99) so do keep your peepers peeled for that!

Well, have I convinced you yet?… 😉

  1. Lovely review, Kate!.. Sounds like a lovely product. I haven’t heard of this brand!. Seems like I been living under a rock :P.. I got a question though : It sounds almost like a thicker version of serum. So, when using it, you still need to use serum on top of it?.

    1. I think this would honestly be suitable for any skin type. It sinks in really quickly so it doesn’t leave any residue on the skin. It’s also a more gel like texture instead of oil or cream based so from my experience they usually suit oily skin types as well. 🙂 Hope that helps x
